As the Miss Cosmo 2024 grand finale comes near, the judging panel is being finalized. On October 1, 2024, the Miss Cosmo Organization made the exciting announcement that \u201cTimeless Beauty\u201d H’Hen Nie will be joining the panel of judges.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The judging panel for Miss Cosmo 2024 is composed of esteemed individuals from various fields. Among them are Paula Shugart – former President of the Miss Universe Organization; Pham Quang Vinh – former Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States; George Chien – Co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of KC Global Media; Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen – 2nd Runner-up of Miss Supranational 2022 and Harnaaz Sandhu – Miss Universe 2021. These distinguished personalities bring a wealth of experience in the international beauty pageant scene and various social sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n

Just days before the Grand Finale, the Miss Cosmo 2024 organization announced that H’Hen Nie will be joining the judging panel. H’Hen Nie made history in 2017 as the first woman from an ethnic minority group to be crowned Miss Cosmo Vietnam – Hoa H\u1eadu Ho\u00e0n V\u0169 Vi\u1ec7t Nam. She went on to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2018, achieving an outstanding Top 5 finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Vietnamese beauty queen with the best performance in Miss Universe, H’Hen Nie is considered a new icon of Vietnamese beauty, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with beauty powerhouses around the world. From a small girl with simple dreams, H’Hen Nie shattered previous beauty standards. Her captivating, distinctive beauty, engaging performance skills, and inspiring story of overcoming prejudice have made her a source of immense pride and motivation in Vietnamese beauty history. Her iconic quote, “I can do it, you can do it,” remains as inspiring and impactful as ever, even six years later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

H\u2019Hen Nie has served as a coach on the first season of “The Next Face Vietnam”, and as a judge for Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2022 and Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023. She is also one of the most influential Vietnamese beauty queens and is beloved by the international community. She was the first Vietnamese woman to win the coveted Timeless Beauty award in 2018 and was also ranked in the Top 10 for Miss Grand Slam. In 2024, H\u2019Hen Nie was further acclaimed as “Vietnam’s Queen of the Runway”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For over 6 years as a beauty queen, H’Hen Nie has been involved in many inspiring charitable activities. She has visited all 63 provinces of Vietnam, and each place she goes, each volunteer trip is a precious memory that H’Hen Nie cherishes. The humble beginnings have fueled H\u2019Hen Nie belief in the transformative power of education. Over the past six years, she has been a dedicated ambassador for Room to Read, a global non-profit organization focused on improving literacy and gender equality in education. Through this role, she has worked tirelessly to build “friendly libraries” for students and championed the importance of access to books. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, she is a strong supporter of programs aimed at assisting HIV-AIDS patients, women, and children who have faced hardship and trauma. In recent years, H’Hen Ni\u00ea has been actively involved in sustainable green living projects, directly participating in reforestation efforts and joining wildlife conservation campaigns. As a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2019\u20132024 term, she has dedicated herself to numerous charitable initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With knowledge, expertise, and solid experience, the judging panel of Miss Cosmo 2024 plays a crucial role in finding a worthy candidate for the prestigious crown of the new beauty era – the Cosmo era, as well as providing valuable insights to help contestants improve themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, former Miss Universe president – Paula Shugart, KC Global Media president – George Chien, and Miss Universe 2021 – Harnaaz Sandhu are in Vietnam to prepare for the two most important nights of Miss Cosmo 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss Cosmo Organization also announced the updated schedule for The Preliminary Night of the Miss Cosmo 2024 competition, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In commitment to maintain the highest standards of production quality, ensure the safety and well-being of all contestants, and deliver an exceptional experience for our audience, organizers have made necessary adjustments to the Miss Cosmo 2024 schedule. The Miss Cosmo 2024 Preliminary Night has been replaced with a Jury Session, which will take place on October 3, 2024, at White Palace V\u00f5 V\u0103n Ki\u1ec7t, No. 59 V\u00f5 V\u0103n Ki\u1ec7t Street, An L\u1ea1c Ward, B\u00ecnh T\u00e2n District, Ho Chi Minh City. For partners and audiences who have already purchased tickets for the Preliminary Night, you may either convert your tickets to attend the Jury Session and will receive a ticket of the same class for the final night. For those who need to change or request a refund, our ticketing partner Eventista will provide support with the process. Miss Cosmo Organization will announce the venue in the next update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
