ANNOUNCING THE EXPERT PANEL OF MISS COSMO 2024

Although it is the inaugural year, Miss Cosmo 2024 has been meticulously planned and executed. This is reflected not only in the high quality of the contestants but also in the expert panel, which comprises leading experts from Vietnam with extensive experience in their respective fields.

Miss Cosmo 2024 has quickly become a focal point of interest among both domestic and international beauty enthusiasts. In just a few days, contestants from around the world will arrive in Hanoi to receive their national sashes and embark on the first leg of their journey at Miss Cosmo 2024. The highlight will be a vibrant festival series celebrating cultural performances across various cities and provinces in Vietnam under the theme: “Vivid Vietnam” through a series of festivals from North to South. The Festival series will feature three main events: Hello Cosmo From Vietnam (Hanoi – Ninh Binh), Best of Vietnam Exhibition (Bao Loc – Lam Dong), and Best Of The World Festival 2024 (Ho Chi Minh City).

Miss Cosmo, a 20-day journey through Vietnam from September 10 to October 5, is more than a beauty pageant. It’s a platform for fostering development, collaboration, and cultural exchange, showcasing the vibrant beauty of Vietnam to the world. To ensure an unforgettable experience, a panel of seasoned experts has been assembled. These top-tier professionals, with deep expertise in their respective fields, will meticulously craft the contestants’ on-stage presence, from stunning visuals to captivating music, guaranteeing a truly exceptional pageant.

Glam Directors – Quan Nguyen and Pu Le

Quan Nguyen and Pu Le are renowned as the “golden duo” in the field of makeup and hairstyling in Vietnam. Internationally acclaimed for their exceptional layout designs, they have consistently impressed beauty queens with their ability to highlight each individual’s unique style and natural beauty. This is why Quan Nguyen and Pu Le are the go-to choice for many renowned beauty queens and runners-up in Vietnam and across the globe.

Through their talent and dedication, Quan Nguyen and Pu Le have achieved outstanding success, winning several prestigious awards, such as ‘Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist of the Year’ from Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, ‘Hair Stylist of the Year’ at the Beauty Choice Awards by L’Officiel Vietnam, and ‘Makeup Expert of the Year’ at the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Awards 2023. Beyond their own remarkable talents, the Quan Nguyen – Pu Le Academy, founded by them, serves as a steadfast ally to countless beauty queens, empowering them to shine on the global stage.

As the Glam Directors for Miss Cosmo 2024, Mr. Quan Nguyen and Mr. Pu Le will be orchestrating the stunning transformations of the contestants for key pageant segments. Their expertise and creativity promise to make this year’s competition a visually spectacular event that will leave a lasting impression.

Fashion Director – Tran Dat

With over 10 years of experience in styling, especially for beauty pageants, Mr. Tran Dat has a proven track record of highlighting each contestant’s unique style.

His expertise has been instrumental in preparing stars like H’Hen Nie, Khanh Van, and Kim Duyen for their stunning appearances, from image development to outfit selection.

Tran Dat first made a profound impact on the public when he personally prepared over 90 different outfits for H’Hen Nie during the Miss Universe 2018 pageant held in Thailand. He was also meticulous in preparing Khanh Van for her international debut at Miss Universe 2020. At Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023, the young stylist took on the role of Fashion Director, leaving a strong impression on both the public and the contestants.

Beyond his notable contributions to the beauty pageants, Tran Dat is also responsible for the image and wardrobe of numerous films and TV shows. 

With a decade of experience and exceptional talent, Tran Dat is recognized by both domestic and international industry experts. As the Fashion Director for Miss Cosmo, Mr. Tran Dat is set to bring a perfect blend of sustainability and glamour to this year’s competition

Music Director – Mew Amazing

Renowned for his distinctive musical style, Mew Amazing is celebrated as a “hit-maker” with tracks that have dominated the Vietnamese music scene. Previously, he has served as a music director for several reality TV shows, garnering positive public feedback. 

Mew Amazing’s music always unique hueportraying societal narratives through the lens of youth and introducing fresh perspectives in his signature style.

As Music Director of Miss Cosmo 2024, Mew Amazing is set to redefine the competition with a breath of fresh air. He will oversee the theme song and performance music, ensuring that Vietnamese music resonates globally in his distinctive manner. His unique musical style promises to make an event to remember.

Catwalk Director – Kovit Ang

Kovit Ang is a distinguished producer and stage director for renowned fashion shows across Singapore and Asia. With nearly 20 years of experience in fashion concept development and catwalk direction, he has been instrumental in high-profile events such as Singapore Fashion Week and Pacific Style Week 2014. His extensive portfolio includes collaborations with prestigious global brands like Chanel, Just Cavalli, Sisley, Topshop, BeBe, Longchamp, and Balmain.

As the Catwalk Director for Miss Cosmo 2024, Kovit Ang will oversee all runway shows, from the “Hello Cosmo from Vietnam” fashion showcase to the ethnic costume segment, ao dai presentation, and the semi-final and final nights. His extensive background in the fashion industry ensures that he will bring a unique, international flair to the event.

Catwalk Trainer – Thanh Khoa

Thanh Khoa is a familiar face in the beauty pageant world, having achieved notable accolades including Miss World University 2019, Miss Hutech 2019, Top 15 Miss World Vietnam 2019, Top 9 Miss Ao Dai 2016, and more recently, Top 10 Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.

In addition to her achievements, Thanh Khoa has extensive experience as a catwalk trainer, preparing many beauty queens for international competitions. Her background and expertise make her well-suited for her new role at Miss Cosmo 2024.

Despite being in its inaugural year, Miss Cosmo is recognized as a professional and meticulously organized competition, attracting a competitive roster of participants. This not only adds excitement to the event but also elevates the profile of Vietnam’s beauty industry on the global stage.
