On January 7th, 2025, at Cosmo Tower, Miss Cosmo Organization held a licensing signing ceremony with Nepal. Notably, the National Director of Miss Cosmo Nepal is Ar. Nimita Regmi, who previously represented Nepal at Miss Cosmo 2024.
In 2024, Miss Cosmo was held for the first time in Vietnam on a grand scale, meticulously organized to meet international standards. With contestants from various countries and territories, the pageant quickly became a central focus, earning widespread admiration from beauty pageant fans and drawing significant media coverage both locally and globally. Among the standout representatives, Miss Cosmo Indonesia – Ketut Permata Juliastrid – and Miss Cosmo Thailand – Karnruethai Tassabut – made history as the first-ever winner and runner-up of Miss Cosmo.
In 2025, Miss Cosmo will be held in Vietnam in late 2025. Miss Cosmo Organization has begun announcing countries that hold the licensing rights for Miss Cosmo 2025, including Australia, Costa Rica, Vietnam, and Greece. Nepal is the latest country to confirm its participation under the leadership of National Director Ar. Nimita Regmi.
As a gesture of goodwill and strong collaboration, Nimita Regmi – National Director of Miss Cosmo Nepal, and Mr. Umesh Devkota – Head of Marketing of the Miss Cosmo Nepal Organization, traveled from Nepal to the Miss Cosmo headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City to finalize the licensing agreement. Representing the Miss Cosmo Organization were Mr. Tran Ngoc Nhat – President Miss Cosmo Organization, Head of the Miss Cosmo Competition Directing Committee; Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang – CEO Miss Cosmo Organization, Head of the Miss Cosmo Competition Organizing Committee, along with other organization members.
Ms. Nimita Regmi was a delegate to Miss Cosmo 2024 and is currently an Architect in Nepal. She has won the Supertecture Award 2022 for Future Classroom and has worked at the Juneli Foundation, an NGO focused on inclusivity for disabled children.
At Miss Cosmo 2024, Nimita Regmi left a lasting impression with her graceful, poised, and composed demeanor. With a strong academic background in architecture, she exemplified the image of a Nepalese woman who shines not only with beauty but also with intelligence and sincerity.
Returning to Vietnam, Ar. Nimita Regmi reminisced about her unforgettable journey at Miss Cosmo 2024. She expressed her deep gratitude to the Miss Cosmo Organization for their unwavering support from the early days of the competition to the present.
As National Director of Miss Cosmo Nepal, Ms. Nimita Regmi will forge a national community of impactful Nepali women of mind and body.
