ANNOUNCING SIX MORE REPRESENTATIVES FOR MISS COSMO 2025 WITH IMPRESSIVE PROFILES

Under the theme “Rising Dragon,” Miss Cosmo 2025 has revealed its next contestants, highlighting the diversity of modern women – from academic achievers and technology specialists to social advocates making an impact in their communities.

With less than 100 days to go, Miss Cosmo 2025 will officially take place in Vietnam. Ahead of the pageant, more beauty queens have been unveiled, representing not only global diversity but also the strength and confidence of modern women. The newly announced names include Refiloe Makaoe (Lesotho), Solange Dekker (Netherlands), Céline Rodrigues (Portugal), Deep Shikha (Nepal), Maria Ishida (Japan), and Samantha Slewa (Canada).

Refiloe Makaoe – Miss Cosmo Lesotho 2025 

Refiloe Makaoe, 24, representing Lesotho, was crowned Miss Lesotho 2024 after winning the Miss Maseru 2022 title. Standing at 1.75 meters, the young beauty is also known for her compassionate nature, driven by a desire to use her voice to support Basotho youth in developing their skills and education.

Offstage, Refiloe is a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly in football, which has instilled in her a sense of discipline and confidence. With this background, Miss Cosmo Lesotho 2025 is expected to bring strong energy and inspiring spirit to the global competition in Vietnam.

Solange Dekker – Miss Cosmo Netherlands 2025 

After being crowned Miss International Queen 2023, Solange Dekker quickly became a well-known name in the pageant world. On September 14, she was crowned Miss Cosmo Netherlands 2025, beginning her new journey to Vietnam.

Standing 1.85m tall, Solange started competing in 2019 and has earned recognition through various titles, including Top 5 at Miss Universe Netherlands casting and Miss Social Media Award. She later made history as the first European to win Miss International Queen.

Beyond the stage, Solange has worked as a hair stylist and now builds a career as a model, host, judge, and speaker – inspiring many with her resilience and message of authenticity and courage.

Céline Rodrigues – Miss Cosmo Portugal 2025 

Céline Rodrigues, Miss Cosmo Portugal 2025, combines classic beauty with modern elegance. A PhD candidate in International Relations at Nova University of Lisbon, she researches human security among Arctic indigenous communities and has published widely in international journals.

Recognized among the 100 Women in Polar Science, Céline mentors and advises on Arctic policy while representing Portugal in global projects and conferences. Her journey reflects a rare blend of academic excellence, social engagement, and leadership.

Beyond academia, she has served as a Second Lieutenant in the Portuguese military, worked in international relations, and remains active through sports, nutrition research, and travels across 20+ countries.

Deep Shikha – Miss Cosmo Nepal 2025 

Deepshikha Nepal, born in 2001 in Jhapa, is pursuing a degree in Environment and Climate Change at Tribhuvan University. Crowned Miss Cosmo Nepal 2025 and 1st Runner-up at Miss Nepal the same year, she is also recognized as a dedicated social advocate.

As an OMLAS Fellow 2025, she launched the project “Empowering Rural Women for Climate Action,” aligning with several UN SDGs and showcasing her commitment to sustainable development.

With her academic focus, community initiatives, and determination, Deepshikha is set to represent Nepal at Miss Cosmo 2025 with both confidence and intellect.

Maria Ishida – Miss Cosmo Japan 2025

Maria Ishida has competed on multiple international stages, including Miss Eco International 2024, where she placed in the Top 21 and stood out in segments such as Resort Wear, National Costume, and Eco Dress. Earlier, she competed at Miss International Japan 2021 and earned the 4th Runner-up title – a milestone that paved the way for her journey onto the global stage.

Maria describes herself as a sports enthusiast, with a special passion for Pilates, which she sees as a way to maintain both flexibility and mental balance. Combining her pageant experience with a disciplined lifestyle, she has built strong stage presence and confidence to proudly represent Japan at Miss Cosmo 2025.

Samantha Slewa – Miss Cosmo Canada 2025

Samantha Slewa, Miss Cosmo Canada 2025, holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and works as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant in a male-dominated field. She also mentors young women in STEM and advocates for diversity in technology.

Beyond her career, Samantha contributes to workplace mental health initiatives, leads stress management programs, and supports community projects. Passionate about Pilates, nutrition, and travel, she has explored over 20 countries, embracing cultural diversity and promoting global awareness.

So far, the organizers have confirmed over 60 National Directors and unveiled 44 official contestants for Miss Cosmo 2025. This November, the beauty queens will arrive in Vietnam for a series of events combining fashion, culture, and community activities across various cities.

The Grand Finale is set for December 20, 2025, at Creative Park, Ho Chi Minh City, introducing a fresh concept that fuses beauty and music in an outdoor cultural-entertainment festival. The event is expected to welcome more than 20,000 spectators from Vietnam and abroad.
