Nearly two months after being crowned, Yolina Lindquist has officially launched her Homecoming tour with a series of engagements in New York City and the state of Illinois. The reigning Miss Cosmo 2025 made a notable appearance as first face at the New York Fashion Week AM – Fall/Winter 2026 show by designer Giannina Azar, alongside participating in diplomatic and charitable activities.
From February 11 to 15 (Vietnam time), following an intensive schedule in Vietnam, Lindquist embarked on a five-day Homecoming journey focused on cultural exchange and community engagement. She was accompanied by CEO Tran Viet Bao Hoang and representatives of the Miss Cosmo Organization.
The program began in New York City, where Lindquist opened Giannina Azar’s Fall/Winter 2026 show as first face a position that sets the tone and spirit of the collection. Her selection for this pivotal role underscores the designer’s recognition of her stage presence and international appeal, further elevating the role of beauty queens as cultural ambassadors bridging fashion, culture and global audiences.

The featured design showcased a structured corset silhouette adorned with intricate hand-embellishment throughout, rendered in silver and champagne hues. The look embodied the couture craftsmanship and signature aesthetic language of Giannina Azar.
With more than 100 international runway presentations and a client roster including global artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Thalía and Natti Natasha, Giannina Azar is regarded as one of the leading voices in contemporary Latin fashion. Lindquist’s appearance contributed to bringing Latin couture closer to the international public while reinforcing her growing presence on major global runways.

Also in attendance at New York Fashion Week were several representatives of Miss Cosmo 2025, including Italy Mora (Top 5), Amys Nayelli Nápoles Ochoa (Miss Cosmo Cuba 2025), Ioanna Saratopoulou (Miss Cosmo Greece 2025), Angely Benitez (Miss Cosmo Paraguay 2025), Dimitra Varaki (Miss Cosmo Greece 2026) and Avani Kakekochhi (Miss Cosmo India 2026), appearing as special guests. Their presence further illustrated the competition’s global, dynamic and inspirational community.

As part of the Homecoming agenda in New York, Lindquist and Miss Cosmo representatives visited the U.S. headquarters of Smile Train, the global nonprofit dedicated to providing cleft surgery and comprehensive care for children worldwide. During the visit, she met with leadership members to gain deeper insight into ongoing humanitarian programs and to promote a message of compassion and social responsibility. The engagement reaffirmed the partnership between Miss Cosmo and Smile Train, as well as Lindquist’s long-term commitment to philanthropic initiatives throughout her reign.

The journey continued in Metropolis, Illinois, where Lindquist reunited with family and participated in official welcome events hosted by the local community. She also took part in a special studio interview with WSIL-TV, broadcast across multiple time slots. In the interview, she reflected on her path to the crown, key milestones from the competition, and her vision for advancing community-driven initiatives during her tenure. Appearing in her sash and crown, Lindquist projected elegance and professionalism while expanding the international visibility of Miss Cosmo through meaningful media engagement.

Nearly two months after the season’s conclusion, Miss Cosmo continues to generate positive momentum through the active presence of its titleholders and representatives at major international events and runways. The early support of partners, brands and organizations signals strong development potential as the competition advances toward building a globally connected beauty ecosystem – one that nurtures talent, strengthens character and promotes positive impact.
Building on this foundation, Miss Cosmo is steadily affirming its role as an international launchpad for a new generation of talented, resilient and purpose-driven young women committed to creating meaningful change worldwide.
